Devsisters' CookieRun has evolved into a global IP, recording over 300 million cumulative players across 248 countries worldwide and building a broad global fanbase.

The IP has demonstrated strong competitiveness by surpassing USD 1 billion in cumulative revenue. This achievement highlights the scale and momentum of CookieRun's growth and indicates that, through 16 years of relentless innovation and expansion, it has firmly established itself as a global franchise extending beyond Korea.

What stands out the most is its balanced global user base across regions. Over the past year, user engagement was highest in Korea, followed by the United States, China, Thailand, and Russia. In addition to a strong fan base spanning Asia, North America, and Europe, CookieRun is gaining significant users in the U.S., China, and Korea—three of the world’s top five gaming markets—proving its ongoing global influence.

Additionally, over this period, cumulative revenue was highest in the U.S., followed by Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Canada, showing that growth in North America outpaced that of Korea.

CookieRun’s growth is driven by its creative content grounded in broad appeal and diversity. With over 500 Cookies reflecting various regions, ethnicities, and cultures, combined with universal values of courage and hope, the narrative resonates across generations, genders, and regions, serving as a key driver for IP expansion.

CookieRun began with the mobile runner OvenBreak in 2009 and has since expanded into RPG, puzzle‑adventure, and co‑op action, broadening the gameplay experience. It has continuously evolved its characters, universe, and content to deliver fresh entertainment and deeper immersion for players.

Beyond online, it has expanded offline into a trading card game (TCG), merchandise, publishing, exhibitions, and licensing—building cultural presence, expanding its reach among the general public, and strengthening the IP’s long-term value and sustainability.

Recently, CookieRun has collaborated with masters of traditional intangible cultural heritage for an "Art Project," fusing the tradition with the modern IP. It has also hosted special exhibitions at Dondeokjeon Hall in Deoksugung Palace with the Korea Heritage Service, promoting Korea's cultural excellence. A comprehensive exhibition of the “Art Project” presenting 10 collaborative works reinterpreting traditional crafts such as mother-of-pearl inlay, lanterns, and buncheong ware is planned for next year.

Devsisters plans to further strengthen its presence as a global IP by continuing to deliver diverse online and offline experiences to its more than 300 million CookieRun fans worldwide.
